Who's who at RoguePlay....
An experienced Circus and Physical Theatre Director and Performer, Kim's work consistently investigates the combination of aerial movement, acting technique and textual narrative. With a strong background in aerial and physical theatre performance and touring, Kim specialises in silks and rope, travelling across the UK teaching masterclasses in aerial technique and aerial theatre creation. She is also the Producer of Birmingham's hugely successful aerial festival, TILT.
Kim is passionate about performance, community and the development of new work and new artists. She is the epitome of the RoguePlay moto...Hard work but always playful!
Lorna's role at RoguePlay is as performer, co-creator and co-director and she is also an acclaimed and prolific performance poet. She writes much of the poetic narratives that form such a distinctive part of RoguePlay’s creative output. Since graduating from De Montfort University with a Degree in Performing Arts and an MA in Contemporary Theatre over ten years ago, Lorna has worked with organisations such as Apples & Snakes, Shakespeare's Birthplace Trust, Women and Theatre, Kiln (formerly Kindle) , Stan’s Cafe, Somesuch Theatre and Outspoken. We would be lost without her!
Paul is RoguePlay's Company Manager and our office would be a mess without him. He supports the Company through it's organisational development, new work, touring and production logistics, as well as managing the RoguePlay team.
Paul has a wealth of experience as wide ranging as working within the NHS to MAC Birmingham. Paul is also Festival Manager of TILT Festival.
