KIM WILDBORNE
Aerial Silk, Rope & Young Aerial
Having trained for 12 years in aerial, as well as having a degree in Theatre, Kim is one of Birmingham's most experienced aerial teachers. She is known for her strong dynamic technique on rope and her fluid originality on the most romantic of the aerial apparatus; silk. She currently teaches adults at our satellite centre in Selly Oak and private classes, one-off workshops and young people in Digbeth.
Kim travels across the UK teaching masterclasses and workshops in aerial technique, aerial anatomy and aerial theatre.
MICHAEL STANDEN
Aerial Hoop, Trapeze, Straps, Contortion
Orly has a long background in aerial as well as a wealth of experience with young people. She is a dedicated performer, teacher and mother, travelling across the UK performing silk and hoop both indoor and out. She is known for her wide ranging aerial vocabulary, her patient and calming nature with her students and her elegance in the air.
Orly teaches at our studio in Digbeth on Monday & Tuesday evenings, as well as teaching private classes.
LIZ WICKHAM
Aerial Silk & Hoop
Liz is a diverse character with a passion for teaching. Having collected 3 degrees in Maths and physics, astrophysics and circus arts (from the UKs national centre in London) Liz went on to traditional circus with Ireland's Circus Gerbola. Since then, notably, she's worked on a one woman cloudswing show about women astronauts and developed her teaching skills for science GCSE, trampolining, gymnastics and of course aerial circus.
Liz is a cover teacher for various classes and teaches on our aerial festival; TILT.
